RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY
Dental caries needs to be removed because it destroys the dental tissue and causes damage to the pulp (nerve), and the removed tissue needs to be compensated for. More and more patients today opt for replacing the amalgam fillings (grey fillings), because of their bad quality. They are toxic for the organism because they contain mercury, and it is scientifically proven that they are connented with Alzheimer's disease, as well as precancerogenic changes in the oral cavity mucosa. Some people develop allergies to nickel, which is their integral part. To create amalgam fillings, a great mechanical destruction of healthy dental tissue is needed in order for the mechanical retention to work; and a cement foundation is needed because of the toxicology of amalgam in the dental pulp.

By using modern composite materials for white fillings for the teeth, a minimum removal of gum is done in only one visit and long lasting and highly esthetic fillings made.
