DENTAL IMPLANTS
A dental implant is a screw built in a bone, which replaces the tooth root. It is made of titanium, it is bioinert and does not cause allergic reactions of the organism. After the implant procedure, which is performed under a local anesthesia, it is necessary to wait a few months so that the fusion of the implant and the bone can take place, which is followed by the opening of the implant, placing additional material onto the dental implant and finishing the work. The finishing work can be a crown or bridge or dentures supported by implants. In our practice we are using the Swedish Astra Tech Implant System, one of the three leading systems in the world.
